Thanks Margot.....There will be New Pics tonight ...... I sent three in, but not sure which they'll use....One is standing, one is laying down stretched out & one is sitting.....My niece is who will be doing it for me, but she has two small babies and is very busy...I just am hoping for tonight! .....Maybe you can tell what she is from the newer pics.....Thank you for your response.....

Yes, done with the Parvo treatments....Vet said it would shed in her stool for 3 weeks and remain on site for 6 mos. I have used more Clorox in the last 3 weeks than I have used in my life.......Inside & out......I'm tired of smelling it & I'm sure my family is too! Glad that's done....

Really need to rip up the plastic sheeting I have taped on the floor in her room & start over.....It sure was easier to clean than the floor would have been.....I haven't got around to that yet!

Again, thanks for your concern......Check the site later when you can.....Sincerely, Karla

Oh, Yoda seems to fit.
Had to laugh at the one with the sign that made the squeaking stop.  Our little Lexie defluffed one of her toys a couple of days ago and I found the squeaker this morning.  lOL. Little chit.  :-)

Found the site and the pic and the owner's post.  Glad she is in good hands.  I assume she is done with the Parvo treatments and no longer shedding the virus?  Man, never had Parvo here, knock wood.  When we took Lexie out of the Shelter, made me nervous and I would not even let her off my property for 2 weeks, didn't need to be spreading anything around the neighborhood.
Poor thing does not look good, for sure. Hard to tell from that pic what she is.  Can maybe See some Pitt in the shape of the eye and head.  Maybe when she feels better, you can get one standing and a body profile.
Bless you, Karla.  If my health were better, I would be helping more than I do now.

Hi Margot..Sorry this  took so long..."What is it?"  I have No clue....She's my new foster dog.....Eaten up w/Mange, Staph, & then day 1 developed Parvo....She actually had owners that contacted our rescue about help with medical bills for their dog.....We normally, don't do this as we can't afford to. However, in this case we chose to help and sent her to our Vet. We paid the bill...
Our Vet reported that he normally doesn't get disturbed, in this case he did....The dog was in horrible shape...She was treated for Serious Mange & Staph....We also paid for a followup 2 wks. later....When we found out they had missed the followup, we called....The phone was no longer in service so our director went to their house.....The owners reported that the dog had been sick since Wed. (This was Friday)...The mom had an emergency out of town is why they missed the check up....
We realized that this was probably Parvo, so we scooped her up and ran....
Interestingly, the owners did not know where she even was.....They looked outside, inside, etc. Our director found her in a pile of laundry vomiting & w/Diarrhea.
Of course the owners said they were going to take her Monday....She tested high level of Parvo and needed emergency treatment.....The owners argued w/us....The Vet suggested we euthanize.....After a number of discussions, her owners reluctantly turned her over to us and we took the chance to try to save her....She was in the hospital for 4 days and was still very ill when she got out...I brought her home with me as there was no where else for her to go...We have very few volunteers!  She has just gotten out of her 3 week quarantine at my house.....

She looks like a miniature Hyena, I kid you not...Weighing in at 9.6 lbs. at 4 1/2 mos. old....Kinda has a Chi face, but very wicked eyes...Maybe a doxie body, but not really.....She had no hair on her head, (Only scabs & sores, covered with thick Mange) but lots of wrinkles....Her ears stick straight up...When I walked into my house with her, the first thing out of my husbands mouth was "YODA"....Yes, that's who she looks like!

I was hoping for a more beautiful name for this little one, but Yoda has stuck.....If you have a Facebook page or access to one, you can see her on our Facebook page....(Henryetta Animal Aid and Rescue Team)...The original post is from October 10...I am putting her update up tonight so everyone can see her transformation.....It's unbelievable!

Thanks for asking...If you can get to our page, let me know what you think she is.......Her owners said, Part Pit, Part Corgi...I see neither!   Bye

I have had a number of dogs over the years and a number of show dogs that had registered kennel names and "call" names.
Only have a Chi mix now, female named Lexie.
