I noticed this pink spot on my dogs nose...

I've attached two pictures of it in this post.  I was wondering if this is from the cold weather during winter and possibly the snow?  She tends to dig around in the snow... She is a two year old lab that we adopted.  Does anyone have any insight on what this might be ? I hope it's not permanent and she did not have it before today.  Thanks for your help- it is very much appreciated.

Ok, Labs are one breed that this can happen to during Winter months and it resolves when the weather warms up, if that is the case here and you say she digs in the snow.  If the sun is out, apply a little sun screen to the area. If a scrape, mod the same.
Do you happen to use plastic dishes for her bowls?  If so, switch to stainless steel.
Off chance it could be an immune problem but your Vet would have to check it and possibky do blood work and skin scrapings.
For now, I would keep an eye on it and try to keep her from putting her face in the snow.
If it gets worse, have her checked.
Please come back and update.

It's not raised but it's pinkish and she likes to smell around the snow.  We also got her a rubber kong toy and it could be a reaction to that

Looks like a scar to me! Is it raised? Maybe an allergic reaction?
