Dog eating others Poop?

I have a year old Pit/Boxer mix named hailey. She's a beauitful dog and is amazing on protecting us but there one thing that prevents my husband and I from getting to close to her at times. She likes to eat our other dogs poop. Our roommate has a teacup chihuahua and a pom pom/chihuahua mix. We also have a teacup chihuahua. Hailey is always at there butt waiting for it to come out. We have even put all of them on the same diet. When we take them outside I hold her down untill they get done potting, she fights me too get away to catch it as it come out of them. Its horriable We did a minpen/ Jack russel that is now with my mother, she also loved to eat his too.

Can someone give me some sort of advice on this issue. Kinda worried about her health.I'm always brushing her teeth and her breath is awfull. She use to sleep in our room on her bed and now we have put her in a kennel inside when were sleeping.

Well I guess there is a positive side to this, atleast went we walk in the yard all we have to worry about is looking out for her landmines and not tiny little poops.

             Thanks,
                        Ashley

I had a Mini Schnauzer years ago that ate poop.  I was told to give him (and to any other dogs in the house if he ate their poop) a fig newton, or even 1/2 a newton every day for about a month .  Something about the fig makes the poop bitter.  It worked.  He stopped eating poop.  He had a lapse a few years later and I did the fig again.  Worked that time too.  Maybe you could try it and see if you have any luck.

I have a Shih Tzu acually I have 3 of them, but 1 of them has been eating poop off and on all her life. She did it when she was a puppy them quit for the longest. I had 2 of them move in about 1 year ago and they started living in the front part of the house about 3 months ago, their master died and they became my dogs. It almost seems that my poop eater started eating poop again after the death of my friend. When my friend first moved in my poop eater started peeing in the house and even on the furniture, sometimes. She is 5 1/2 years and had been fulling house broken till the others came in.

I've got 6 Pom/Chi, and I've got the same problem. My dogs eat poop as well. I don't have any idea on what to do. If anyone can help us I'd appreciate it very much...
