Hmmmm sorry I cant help it but no one can order you to do anything you do not want too.
That is in an ideal life I know, you obviously love your little dog very much so I hope you get there.
In the meantime wash the area that she has pee'd on with Soda water or white vinegar and bicarb of soda that will neutralise it so the smell will disappear. After that get some paper towels to blot the soda up stand on them and do that until the towels are no longer wet.
I bet she can sense the tension in the home which will make her more nervous so be as upbeat as possible when she performs.

You understand that it is your fault.... pity your husband cant see that.Poor little darling 10 years old.And 10 yrs of knowledge I bet she will come through for you so do not give up.Please let us know how you go I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Oh and you deserve better than this.

Ginger's right...
My first thought: If your dog has not had a Senior Wellness Exam in the last couple of years, she needs one...There could be a medical reason for all of this....Yes, a UTI is possible, very common & easy to treat....A urinalysis (Urine sample) is checked to determine if bacteria or blood is present.....Antibiotics are given...She needs bloodwork to determine any other underlying cause.....Both are included in a SWE.

Second thought: Could this be submissive peeing? Is she frightened of something when it happens?

Third: If your Not familiar with rescues or shelters, they are being over-run with owner Turn Ins, due to the rough economy. People are relinquishing their pets all over the country because they can no longer afford to take care of them....The Shelters, Rescues, Humane Societies, SPCAs, etc. are strapped  to capacity......There is NO way they can find homes for all of them......

*You need to check with your SPCA to see if it's a KILL shelter or not....The chances of a 10 yr. old dog with urinary problems getting adopted are slim to none!  You will be giving her basically a Death Sentence!!!! I think you need to know this!

Fourth: Could you get rid of the Husband instead?  Just a thought......Karla

No she was trained before when she was a pup that was 10years ago, and my husband said she has been doing this since we moved house 5years ago. I think we have not been consistant with her going out toilet and got worse when we moved house.

I have started taking her out to the toilet every 2 hours and praising her when she has done it and gave her a treat to re-enforce the behaviour. I will try this for a week and see any change because i know she is really trying to please us and i do not want to give her to spca because we have not giving it our all.

When you say "train her again"...do you mean she was house trained before, and has suddenly started peeing inside the house?
Have you recently moved house?
Or...sometimes a well-housetrained dog suddenly starts peeing inside because there is something wrong with her physically. If for instance she had a bladder infection, she could do this. My dog once had a bladder infection and she did a big puddle just behind the back door in the kitchen. I knew she couldn't help it, so didn't tell her off, but she was mortified!
A course of antibiotics cleared her infection up very quickly.
