throat stuck and raised red spots on toung near the the throat

For about a week now, I have felt like there is something stuck in my throat.Sometimes not at all. When I eat, I usually don't feel it.Also some some red raised spots appears in my tongue.It  appears at the back of my tongue, at the top of my throat. I'm not coughing more than normal, there is no blood and it doesn't hurt to breath or swallow.my medical history i was suffering with acidity.once endoscopy tested doctor said it was the beginning of septic ulcer.now i went to doctor with his reference i already completed the antibiotic coarse(Amoxycillin 5 days).still its not  cured.Do my symptoms sound like it could be serious? .Any information you could tell me would be greatly appreciated. I know you can't give me a specific answer, but any possibilities would help. Thank you.

If I was you and its not getting better and its getting worse, I'd have it checked by a doctor. Its probably nothing, but its better to be safe than sorry.

Hi Shajanjose,

The red raised spots behind the tongue are the hypertrophied lingual tonsils, these are the lymphoid organs just like your tonsils. Do not worry much about it.

According to your history, you have mentioned that you are having acidity also. Hence its common in these individuals to have laryngo pharyngeal reflux. Please do consume plenty of warm water, avoid smoking (if any), alcohol (if any), spicy foods, coffee and tea for few days. Try proton pump inhibitors (such as Omeprazole/Esomeprazole). Any more doubts you are welcome.
