Hi , I had a crystalens inplant may of 2012 , Having very poor vision now, I do have a autoimune problem from working in a plastic factory years ago, I told my doctor before having surgery , However he used the crystallens , I am now told that scar tissue has developed possibly do to body over reacting because of autoimmune problems , The scar tissue has pushed out on the hinge slightly causing the lens to be misaligned causing poor vision , Not sure at this time what Im going to do , Any one have this problem ?

5 weeks ago, because I have narrow angles and growing cataracts (which aren't affecting my near perfect vision), I had a cataract removed in my left eye and a crystalens AO implanted. I chose crystalens as I was hoping to be able to maintain as much of my vision as possible. I now have good intermediate vision in the operated on eye, fair near vision, but my distance vision is very fuzzy...no crisp lines at all. I see the edge of the lens when going from near to intermediate vision, glare on the temple side and flioresent lights are very bad. I am scheduled to have the right eye done next week and I am so scared that I will never see well again, I am so hopeful that my vision will improve as I have read it takes three to six months for the vision to stabilize. Would love to hear about experiences of other people.
