Hearing everything high pitched + loud ringing

Today I woke up and im hearing everything so different than normal like if i were trying to hear everything like onna speaker or old phone plus with a loud ringing that is staying all day.. i was shaking so bad I couldn't breathe right fir how scared I am.  I think the ringing calmed down a little but I still hear everything bad.. its like lower hearing, non normal hearing like water running will sound like if im hearing it through a speaker or cheap phone.   Im just so worried abd scared right now.   It never lasts this long.

Hello.  It will be okay, hon.  Tinnitis is ringing in the ears and quite common.  It doesn't cause hearing loss.  It often happens due to a blockage or inner ear issue.  Treat that, and it goes away.  I actually had issues with this and also weird hearing in one ear and went to the doctor.  Then I did have issues for a while so saw a specialist.  My issue was inner ear problems with my Eustachian tube.  they think a virus triggered it.  What helped me was reverse nose pops.  Hold your nose and blow into it and your ears will pop.  Do this several times or over and over for a few days and see if it helps.  good luck
