burning smell

i have suffered for years from chronic inflammatory sinus disease and have headaches, face pain and 'stuffy head and nose feelings' and intermittant balance problems when walking or laying down. . For the last few weeks I smell burning like a smouldering bushfire or something is going on, but nobody else can smell it. They all say the air is fresh. It's worse in humid weather. anybody else experience this 'burning ' air sensation? I have shut the doors and windows when watch TV in the night because it smells like the room is full of smoky air it's so noticable. ??

That's what often happens when the sinus infection gets into the upper sinuses to where the olfactory receptors are.  I've had it about 3 times, and of course I got rid of it with a Sinus Flush

Of course, with balance problems you wouldn't want to bend over in a shower, but you can knell down next to a tub or basin, or do it outside.
