ENT

Problem of congested nose - I saw a doctor for my nose blocking problem. He told it as Rhinosis. Fluzep and Ibuprofen tablets were given.

After few days I saw an ENT. He has done Endoscopic Rhinoscopy. He told the problem is - Hypertrophic Turbinates & Deviated Nasal Septum. He asked me to stop other medicine and gave me Aerius Tablet and Avamys Spray.

New medicine doesn't work on 1st day and I have continue having problem of congested nose

I've had chronic nose, mouth and throat problems for over 3 years!!  ENT docs cannot find a reason. I do have a deviated septum and spur in my left nostril (not the cause of my other symptoms). Anyway, I can't use nasal sprays as I get nose bleeds. What I found myself in the pharmacy was NeilMed NasoGel.  I've been using this and it does help a lot to clear up some of the stuffiness and helps to keep my nasal passages moist.

Hello and welcome to MedHelp

If Avamys is a nasal steroid, it can take up to two weeks to start working, so be patient with it.

Have you tried sinus rinses.  They are usually very helpful in reducing congestion and discomfort.

Let us know how you are doing.

God bless.
