I get a lot of post nasal drip. I often suck snot out of my nasal pharynx to clear my sinuses. So, it would make sense if these were caused by trauma.
I'm overdue for a physical anyway. So, I'll have my doctor check these out in a few weeks, just to be safe. But you guys gave me enough info that I was able to find pictures of oral cysts due to trauma. These look just like that. Far more so than any cancerous or pre-cancerous lesions. Which is what kept popping up when I was doing general web searches.
You guys have really put my mind at ease. Thanks again!
Thanks to both of you. I wasn't expecting doctors answers!
Hi, what you are seeing could be oral cysts. They generally do not require any therapy unless infected. If causes problems with chewing or swallowing they need to be removed. So, if there redness or pain or you develop fever consult your doctor to rule out an infection. Regards.
Hello,
Any lesion should be clinically examined and assessed. These lesions on the uvula could be normal islands of lymph tissue but they could also be viral wart like lesions. They could be due to allergies or any infection. It is suggested to see your ENT doctor to be sure. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. Good luck and regards!.
