It kind of depends on the specialty of the doctor you are seeing. Primary care people generally don't have the tools or training to look into your nose with a scope (which you may or may not need). Nasal congestion, on the other hand, is very common problem and your doctor shouldn't find him or herself too challenged by this. There are several good medicines (nasal sprays, decongestant pills, among others) that can help and very good surgical treatments for when those fail. Don't worry.
