sinus evaluation

My ENT recently performed a sinus endoscopy to help diagnose sinus pain and found no infection or other reasons for the pain. Is an endoscopy the gold standard for a sinus evaluation or could a CT scan or MRI inspect areas that the scope cannot reach? This symptions seem to indicate an infection.

I had an MRI, which diagnosed my sinus infections and scarring. If you still have pain, further evaluation definitely called for. Good luck.

I would definitely get a CT. That would give you a deeper picture of your sinuses than an endoscopy.
