taste and smell

I cannot taste or smell anything and it is really beginning to get me down!! I am just getting over a chesty cough and the situ has worsened, normally I cannot taste or smell anything for around 3days out of 7 but at the moment it is ongoing and I need help please....................

thanx for that, my taste and smell is back for the time being, it comes and goes but it's awful not tasting what u eat!! Therefore I don't have much of an appetite!!!! So instead of lookin forward to meal times i kinda dread them!!!

Hello.  I would say that if you've just been experiencing this for a few days it may pass on its own once your cold totally clears.  However, I have read elsewhere that people who have had this  problem for a longer period of time have had some success with accupuncture.  Good luck!
