Body dysmorphia

I have recovered leaps and bounds from many aspects of long term eating disorder behavior.  I started with Anorexia from the age of 16-18 which progressed to Bulimia.  The main difficulty I have is with an almost constant thought obsession regarding my body size.  I seem to be hyper-aware to every pound I think I might have put on.  To be honest I don't tend to use the word pound; as I feel my weight jumps around about half stones rather than pounds.
I look in the mirror and see so many varying views, it's unbelievable.  I do not know much about Body Dysmorphia, but what I do recognize is I tend to 'feel' fat when I am in a negative emotional state- for example if I am anxious about something.  Is this a symptom of Body Dysmorphia?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hi!
When you suffer from an eating disorder, and gain weight, it is natural to feel as though you have become disproportionate. Body proportion is viewed differently by different people. Hence, you may get different views from different people. Also you may view yourself differently depending on your state of mind at that time. Hence, at this stage, it is best to opt for counseling. Also, join a good physical trainer who can help you tone up your body. This will also add to your confidence. Take care!
