Loss of Appetite

I've recently lost my appetite and I have no idea why! During the school year I'm living in a different province in residence and the last few weeks I've literally had no desire to eat. It's not that I'm trying to lose weight or anything, I rarely watch what I eat, but I've noticed that I only eat like two meals a day. I feel absolutely normal, no depression, in fact I feel totally normal! I used to snack regularly at night and food would be a regular thought. I know that since I moved into residence I've lost my desire to cook food ( the kitchen is just disastrous, so dirty and I can't bring myself to cook) but I have everything I need in my room. I used to eat chips and chocolate and crave them, but now, never. I know it might seem like a good thing, but it's weird. I'm going to be going to bed in about an hour and so far all I've had today is a coffee and toast for breakfast and then eggs and bacon for a late lunch. Literally not hungry at all right now. Is this normal? Should I be worried? I have lost weight because people keep commenting about it, but I didn't even notice.

You might be going through some slight depression or possibly a lot of stress. This can happen to anyone and honestly a lot of people might not notice at all. I don't think you should worry, you sound perfectly fine, but if you wanna be on the safe side consult a doctor or talk to a loved one who knows your body.

Hi! I don;t think you have anything to worry about right now. It's normal to loose your appetite with a change in scenery and environment. You are eating a couple of meals a day so that's good! You also feel good and that's also good!

If it persists or you find yourself eating less and less. Also, if you are loosing too much weight, then seek some sort of help for sure. Try to get in your three meals a day, though. Even if you eat a yogurt or something really light for your third meal. At least you are getting back into the habit of it and this may also trigger your appetite to come back to normal. Hope this helps!
