am I dying?

I've been bulimic now for about 8 months and i've had an eating disorder for about year.
the other day i was lying down watching tv, i hadn't had anything to eat all day and i took my pulse just for fun.
anyway it was 54 bpm
but when i'm up typing or moving around a little bit it's around 68 bpm
is this really bad?

It's not necessarily good, but it doesn't mean you're about to die either. However, I do encourage you to seek help, sooner than later.

I'm 5 6  and right now i weigh 140, in this last year my weight has fluctuated from 120 to 160, i don't do a lot of exercise, i ride horses which is tough work about once or twice a week and sometimes i go on 4 hour bike rides but most of the time i'm too tired so i just sit around. i wouldn't call myself an athlete but my stamina is alright. I don't avoid salt but i never add it to my meals.

I need to know how much you weigh to answer that question and if you exercise alot and if you are very athletic and fit.

Athletes generally have a low heart rate and low blood pressure.  Also do you avoid salt?

I can try to help , let me know.
