Hard to let go once you're fixated. Try being fixated on lining up the food and labels in your pantry and sorting them by food group. Ha. and then throwing in carb counting and fat counting and dietary fiber counting.... (just to make sure it's all balanced, you know) thank goodness I paid attention in math or I'd be in trouble. If you find a solution, let me know :) For me, it's a easy way to have some control over something in my life as everything else is perfectly hectic or otherwise out of my control. Or so the story goes. Everything else may run amuck, but I am the supreme being over every litle calorie and carb!
What are you afraid of? What's going to happen?
Honestly, i don't remember. it's like i'm afraid not to... :(
Yes, I definitely understand that. It seems like it's controlling you though; am I right? Either way, it's rough. What happens when you don't "control" it?
I know exactly what you mean. I'm currently in the same boat, so i have a pretty good idea how your feeling. But how are you handling your feelings?
i dont know... i just feel like i have to control it, you know?
Do you need to talk or anything? Are you doing okay??
thanks, guys! that makes me feel better
i aso know how you feel. You could talk to me as well.
I understand how you feel. I'd be happy to talk with you and will do my very best to help in any way possible. I hope you're doing okay.

I ABSOLUTELY know how you feel...im so sick of calories controlling my life...but yet they do anyway. Its a sick obsession
First of all it's important to know how old you are to be able to point you in the right direction, you need to put your age on your profile, especially if you are underage, which by your other posts you are.
Obsessions and compulsions come in many forms, it sounds like you are obsessing about your calorie intake. It could be as a result of your anxiety, they seem to go hand in hand. As well feeling out of place at school can make you feel the need to have more control in your life.
Do you have a psychiatrist? If you don't, you need to see your family doc, and get a referral before this gets out of hand. You may need a change in meds, as well sitting down with talk therapy and getting into a support group for teens will work wonders!
Please drop me a line, if you need any further information,
Take care LCC
