thank you so much! Is it going to mess up my body if I keep doing this and I used to be chubby but I lost it. Got it back kinda.
Have you always been chubby, or is this something recent? I ask because sometimes around puberty a little extra weight is gained. This "puppy fat" goes away all by itself, unless the person is actually overeating. If you are not grossly overweight just eliminate second helpings and give up desserts. Don't listen to your "friends." I don't know if you have ever seen a model in real life. They have no breasts and have skinny hips. In fact, they look like undernourished boys. And they are so malnourished that they often do not menstruate because they have screwed up their hormones. You don't need that kind of grief. You have just become a woman. Enjoy looking like one.
Hi,
I know it's hard to be exposed to judgmental environment.
I also know how emotional distress, hurts and wounds can get you to dark places...
I suffered from anorexia and then bulimia in past and I know that once you start it's very hard to stop. I don't want to preach but if I were you, I would talk to an adult you are close to....maybe your mom? aunt? cousin? - and I would agree to talk to a therapist who specializes in eating disorders.
It's hard to tell where is the thin line..please don't cross it, it may be too late if you do...
About the girls: they just repeat slogans taken from fashion magazines or watch too many unrealistic movies. It's sick that fashion creates lifestyle - look at the models - they look ugly and definitely not sexy.
Believe me - a girl should be a girl, not a skeleton. Almost every guy you ask will tell you that he likes curves, not bones.
One more thing - once you get very skinny, you are aging faster - I know it sounds surreal for you, but because of my eating disorders I started looking older then my friends around my twenties....
Be brave!
Joanna
