I'm a 31 y/o female, 4'11', 120lbs and I've been throwing up everything I eat or drink (no exceptions) for going on almost 4 years now. I've been to several doctors and specialists. I do not have an eating disorder, nor a food allergy, or ulcer/hernia. I've done the scopes, food diets, life style changes, oodles of food and stress diaries. It doesn't seem to matter how much or little I eat, what I eat, when, how fast. its always accompanied with nausea, profuse sweating, and a headache. And sometimes I'll shake for several minutes after throwing up. No doctor has been able to tell me what is wrong and the many tests haven't provide any answers or even a hint as to why. I'm so frustrated that I'm ready to give up and I've got a gut feeling my doctors already have. What could be wrong with me? I've lost almost all my teeth from the damage of the stomach acids, several uninsured ER visits for blacking out and dehydration. I eat constantly in my losing battle to not lose any more weight, I use to be obese, 200lbs, but have lost 80 pounds over the last 4 years with absolutely no dieting or exercise (except for the horrible 9-12 months of bland eating to test for food allergies). I never thought I would say this but I want to gain some of the weight back. I felt so much better about my self when I had curves. I can't hold a job down and hate going out because I have absolutely no control over when I'm going to need to excuse my self to get sick. what kind of quality of life is this? I've got to find some answers, I literally feel like I'm rotting from the inside out. Any referrals or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
