EBV Questions

I went to doctor and took a blood test. Everything came out negative, except my EBV came out positive. I know many people have EBV and I have to put up with it. I've developed quite a few lymph nodes around my neck and I was wondering how long it will take for them to go away?

"I wonder how long my tiredness will last?!!"

Its hard to say but there are things that you can do to try to shorten your duration of illness. You may want to consider seeing a Naturopathic or alternative medicine practitioner. Many CFS patients have found these physicians to be the most helpful in dealing with ways to boost the immune system, etc.

Of course like any physician... check out online first and check your physicians history before you see anyone. (if you choose to see one of these physicians).

Best of luck... keep me posted !

Well you see my doctor is pretty certain that it is EBV, because I took a bunch of other test to, like an HIV test and a cancer test, and they all came up negative. I also took a thyroid test and the doctor checked my heart beat and breathing, everything was 100%. I'm become extremely fatigued alot of the times and sleepy, but I haven't had a cold or fever at all thankfully. I wonder how long my tiredness will last?!!

98% of the population will test positive for EBV. Did your physician tell you that you have a current infection ? It sounds like you do... from the swollen (I'm assuming they are swollen) lymph nodes in your neck.
