Gene-Eden antiviral supplement efficiency on EBV?

I have been suffering from chronic EBV infection. Have anyone tried Gene-Eden natural antiviral supplement for EBV? How effective is this for EBV? Also please suggest alternative antiviral for EBV?

Oddly enough, there has been a bit of clinical success with taking Valtrex, taken when the person starts to feel run-down. My brother-in-law has suffered from EBV since his mid-teens and it has helped him considerably. He tried every viable natural alternative prior to finding the study on treatment of EBV with Valtrex, to no avail.

Well, I'm new to Glandular Fever..I've had it since September, I am surprised at how weird an infection it is...throat sore, headaches, glands up, spleen tiny ache, liver ache and swollen, aches and pains in muscles, red eye sometimes........the blood test, mono has come back negative, but borderline??

I had the fever but was told it was menopause sweats  but it isn't because now its gone.also unfortunately, .i have given it my sons girlfriend,....she isn't as bad with it...

My liver has very recently become affected by it......I had a suddenstingin pain so i felt the area it came from...,I found a.small lump that stung to touch on liver surface......it disappeared 3 days later.!!!..     I have swollen feeling under ribcage area on my right side..i kind of feel bloated or fat in that area...

.I read that a Liver flush is a good idea...so look up Liver flush ideas...black coffee enema is recommended........or apple juice, lemon juice and Epsom salt, small dose is good..you can find info on net but they suggested Chinese Gentian before it as well.

I am worried after reading everyones comments...how long might i have this thing..if i do anything like for an hour or so, my glands swell up and i feel rough...Ive also noticed digestive probs, flatulence, no Diarrhea, stools normal...

Hey, Ive just tried to look for the gentian recipe thing and stumbled on something wowing....Above, i have just written that i felt a little lump on liver that stung to touch and disappeared 3 days later.......well.its stones in/on  the liver bile duct  and or gall bladder  .CHECK OUT ON NET.........Read up  about the liver and its role in all health issues where there is viral infection, digestive problem, and all issues....I reckon i have to clean liver and gall bladder....when you do this it restores the digestive system, the lymphatic system, the blood, the kidneys the health of the heart, muscles just about everything you can think of.......check out the black coffee enema..very interesting!!!

Right I am going to take action...i will get back to you later about this.,....I feel i'm on to something here....xxx

Hopeful....Kaurini

I've had chronic Epstein-Barr Virus(mono) for 30yrs---but last 10yrs on FAMVIR which is an anti-viral formulated Specifically FOR both shingles and EBV. It took ALL my symptoms away---the swollen neck glands, the
aches/pains, the flu-like feeling daily, fever (which i had at 102 F every day),etc.,etc.Only PROBLEM is---it is costly---about $250/mo. for the
"suppression" dosage, which is 250mgs Twice daily (ie-500mgs/day)---the
other (lower) dose (of 125mgs to 250mgs/day) is just a "control the break-outs" type dose and does not take-away all the symptoms as the "sup-pression" dosage Does. This means it actually takes the viral lode down
to nearly "zero"--ie- un-detectable in blood tests. They had tracked my blood levels of mono for years--up/down--but very present in my blood-but after on Famvir---not findable in a blood test--so it keeps those viral guys from replicating, keeping the lode down to nearly gone. It is a miracle--but no insurance covers it--so sometimes it's a choice of whether i pay bills or get my med!! You have to sadly be rich in this country, to be well!

Gene Eden is not effective against EBV infection at all.  It's simply a blend of herbs and such.  There are no known antiviral drugs that are effective for EBV either.  Mononucleosis just has to go away on it's own..Just make sure you get enough rest, fluids and eat a balanced diet.  That's ALL you can do..Do not waste your money on "alternative" cures.
