EBV and pneumonia

I have been diagnosed with ebv about 3 months ago. It all started with swollen lymph nodes and a week later common flu symptoms like a sore throat and congestion. The flu symptoms went away but the lymph nodes stayed enlarged for a while. Now my lymph nodes seem to get smaller but never really go away. I started to experience pain in my armpit and left breast. 2 weeks ago I started having trouble breathing and it got to a point of where I felt like I wasn't getting any oxygen. I went and saw my doctor again. She said I got pneumonia and prescribed me antibiotics. I have been taking my antibiotics for a week now and it first seemed to get better but now on the 7th day my lungs are just burning including the right lung which felt normal at first. My complete blood count was taken in May and everything was perfect. Has anyone had similar experience with ebv and can give me some advice? I am a young mother of a 9 months old baby and I am terrified that it is something worse especially since I never had a blood test done for ebv and my doctors just think that's what ot is. I am thankful for any advice. I have always been healthy and now sick for 3 months.
