8 hours a day

Hi. I work at a desk all day. I'm a single mom of two. I don't have a lot of time to workout. Between work, kids, the house, the dogs, friends, family, etc. I can't find any time to have a good workout. It seems like the best time to be working out is when I'm at work, sitting at my desk, on the phone. I need suggestions for ways to burn calories when I'm just sitting. I have tried sitting on an exercise ball, it's OK but I need more. Thanks.

Fidget... swing your legs while you're one the phone or even stand up and walk around, gesture with your hands/arms when you talk to people -- anything to keep you moving.  Get up and walk around for a few minutes every hour or so. Take a brisk walk on your lunch break.

Don't forget that housework counts as exercise, too, so put some extra movement into it.  "Dance" with your vacuum cleaner or dust rag...

Depending on the ages of your children, enlist their help with household chores, so you can save some time for yourself to get in a good workout.

Try the 4 min intense workouts on youtube they are great, lunges, burpees, planks etc try that whenever you get some free time.. Pilates is great for toning up and have great abdominal/leg exercises... Good luck :-)
