I have had quite abit of knee pain, but took 10 days off from the gym for the christmas holiday and my knee pain has decreased greatly. I want to return to the gym, but need to know what cardio machines I should be using so pain dosen't return.

Hi Vonnie,
Are you a Gym freak?
Well I am sorry to say that any exercise which involves you standing upright, knee, hips and your ankle takes lot of strain to keep you going as compared to any other part of your body.
If you have any knee pathology and do any exercise, it would affect your knee.
I think you should be seeing an orthopaedician, do imaging studies, and rule out any pathology before joining gym again.
As otherwise the condition is going to worsen, if we ignore.
Hope this helps you.
Keep me informed.
Bye.
