Anyone out there know how to get rid of 'thigh pits?'

Hello everyone! I have finally hit those 40s and am becoming very discouraged with the way my legs look. I used to like the way my legs looked but now I have developed "pitting" or ripples some call it, in my thigh area. I probably could stand to lose 20lbs but have been exercising with weights and alternating with walking 5 days a week. As with some of the other posts I've read, I managed to gain weight as I began exercising. I have been doing this about 2 months now. Any suggestions on the best way to tone this problem area or I'm I looking at lipo?

i have the same problem and am not overweight even by a pound.  I am 5'4" and 110lbs (well, i am pregnant at the moment) and I am prone to "pitting".  It is minimal when i am at my ideal weight 105-110 and more pronounced 115 and up.  the best way in my 30+ years of trying to get rid of this is exercise and diet and massage.  I get a massage when i can and i regularly massage myself.  I run 3 to 5miles a day in addition to weight training and eat a fairly healthy diet.  Dont be fooled by creams and gels.  And too, try diet and exercise prior to an extreme such as lipo.  best wishes.
