Need to check to see if I could use diet modifications? Primary concern is health, secondary is for fitness. I eat pretty close to the same things daily; do I *need* variety per se?
Breakfast:
Apple
Orange juice (the pure kind)
Banana
Raisins
Strawberries
Blueberries
Lunch:
Subway sandwich - oven roasted chicken (essentially grilled chicken); double meat; w/ a serving worth of spinach and radishes
Dinner:
Wild salmon
Potato cooked in olive oil
Almonds (the low sodium kind)
Broccoli and cauliflower
Snack:
24 oz. glass of milk (some days soy, some days regular skim)
Serving of Healthy Choice popcorn - 9 grams of fiber per 100 cal serving
Melon snack (variety of watermelon, cantelope - eat enough to constitute ~1 serving)
At some point in the day, I usually try to drink a V8 juice. When I lift, I do a weight gain shake (at least one, sometimes two). I'm 5'11" 160-165; extremely fast metabolism. Is there any big health benefit food I may be missing?
