Starting to Excercise

I'm way below the average weight, very slim, and always feeling weak (feeling weak may also be due to my anxiety), and I'm really wanting to do some exercise, but I want to start off really easy and simple just to get me started. So, what simple exercises can I start doing that won't take too much effort? The more I start doing simple exercises, i'm going to try and build up to much harder ones.

I used to smoke, but don't really drink, and I quit smoking a few weeks ago, and haven't smoked one since, so that's going really well :)

First of all make sure you are taking adequite protein as that is the tool for bulding muscles. You can do all the exercises in the world and not gain muscle if you don't eat enough protein. so include protein in every meal so that it will be 15-20% of you daily consumption of calories and protein being 50-60%, fats 20-25%.

So with haveing adequite carbohydrates for energy beforehand, do simple exercises like wall squats only the range comfortable for you, pushups from your knees, crunches, supermans (lying on stomach lifting arms and legs up) then slowly work your way into other exercises as you build muscle and strength. Protein must be included after each workout. Also incorporate cardio exercise like brisk walks, cycling, hiking, swimming, or whatever is best for you.

i can relate to your situation. I am in my weight class but im thin as well. I started my exercises because i felt my body getting really tired and lazy. I mean i couldnt get up to go to the restroom without feeling really nasty. But today i am feeling pretty good. I started with a couple of running laps in my old high school and did a couple sets of stairs. As i went along i started doing more and more and mixed core training (like pushups,situps, squats,lunges,etc)
