Hi, the normal VLDL cholesterol range is between 0 to 40. Optimally it should be below 30. You have a high normal VLDL cholesterol level. As you mention you have gained some weight over a period of one year, you should look to reduce your weight by doing some aerobics exercises regularly and eating a balanced diet which should exclude fatty food, refined carbohydrates that is simple carbohydrates and sweet foods. You should take complex carbohydrates and fibrous food instead. This will help. As far as ESR is concerned, the reason for the elevated levels is some chronic disease process which should be spotted by doing some investigations. I hope this helps
I would say you can reduce your chlestrol level by:
1) walk in a green space as fast as as you could until you sweat ...for a period of 30 to 50 minutes everyday. Use a suitable and technically supported jogging shoes .
2) lower your volume of regular food by 20%.
3) avoid stressing environment.
Good luck
