How can I get motivated?

Hello Everyone,
Well, it's the middle of summer and I've significantly gained some weight. I have a gym membership, but I have absolutely no motivation to go. I would love to drop some twenty pounds and feel great about myself, but I can't get myself to go to the gym. What can I do just get motivated and go??

Rather than think of all the time you'll be working out, just commit to 5 or 10 minutes, that's all.
Chances are you'll feel more energized and end up doing a full workout.

And if not, if you can't possibly go past 5 min., you can say you tried!

Hi, many times people actually feel better when they go to gym but they lack initiative about going to the gym. There are a few suggestions for you. Set your goals, start with what you like doing in the gym, stay hydrated throughout the day, keep a diary or logbook and note down your day to day attendance in the gym, give yourself rewards at the weekend in the form of snacks, make friends and a group in the gym to join you in all these activities. This will surely help.
