Left arm pain while lifting

i just started lifting weights about a month ago, i have stayed at lifting the same amount of weight in all of my exercises and they've gotten very easy, so i'm thinking this cant be a strain on my muscle from lifting too much weight. anyways, over the past week when i curl ive had a twinge from under my left armpit down the inside of my arm. its gotten to the point where i cant do it anymore. so i decided to stop for 5 or 6 days.. but its not even starting to fade. i can feel the twinge no matter what i do now. what kind of injury does this sound like, and how long will i most likely have to wait before i can start back up? thank you in advance for your opinions.

im not sure if its my form, i sit over the curl bench and slowly take it down and up, always seems to burn more the slower i go. so im not doing any jerking or heaving, i started noticing the twinge mid workout one day, i thought my shirt was just too tight around my upper arm. i continued the work out every other day and about a week later it became more than a twinge, a shooting pain almost straight down the inner side of my arm starting from my armpit. i dont believe its a muscle because of the location, and i still have all of my strength. im just interested to know if this is a common problem that will go away in another week or two or if its some kind of pinched nerve or something. im too new to this to know myself. thanks for the reply

Judgin from your program.  The weight isn't the issue since you never add any weight as you said so I guess it's your form that inured you.. Jerking or heaving weight can caused an injury.  But i am not this sure as you are the one who knows when was the time it first started was it after workout, while workout or before workout?

Try to assess the source so you may know what to do..

good luck
