Neck pain when doing bench press

The last two times I did flat bench press, I noticed that when I strain, I get a super sharp shooting pain in the back of my neck where the neck meets the back of the head.  Im wondering if it is a pinched nerve or maybe from straining/poor posture.  Can anyone give me some feedback on this.

Thanks!

Same here. Last night I felt a sharp pain when i lifted
my head up while putting the bar back to rest. It's where the neck meets the shoulder line.

Same here. Last night I felt the sharp pain when i lifted my head up while putting the bar back to rest. It's where the neck meets the shoulder line and slightly
above as well. I get all these sharp pain when I try
to move my head down, left, right, in a certain way. I get no pain though when I look up.
