soccer.. shot ball pulled my hamstring not getting better... what do i do??
apply ICE for 30 mins
when you feel numbness do slight stretch
straighten up your leg
do some hams stretch
if possible do massage
or consult a physical therapist
hamstrings often take a while to heal so I'd just be patient and not push it too much (exercising too early when you are injured will increase the odds of injuring the area further). If anything you'd want to get a referral to an orthopaedist who specializes in sports medicine for an eval and they (possibly) would refer you to physical therapy if they saw the need for it.
The diagram didn't turn out the way I wanted it to so I will look for one on the internet and post on here shortly.

Hmm. 2 weeks and it's still not healed. This seems more damaged then what it may appear to be. I would suggest that you see a physiotherapist because you may have pulled a nerve, or deeper fibres in the leg area.
Also you may want to try this easy exercise while watching television.
Lay on the floor, on your back, with your legs bent at 90-degree angles. As if you were going to do some situps.
Now continue to watch television (lol) and when every commercial break comes on, lift the injured leg into the area BUT DO NOT change the way it is bent.

Sorry about the dodgy diagram but I hope you get my point. Continue holding the injured leg up during the commercial break and continue doing so over an hour. Do this twice daily, if possible.
