Severe Rt Shoulder Pain

I have severe Rt shoulder pain for last 2 years. I had been to the doctor, he said that it could be frozen shoulder and prescribed medicines but it did not help me. the pain is so severe that I feel like tearing apart my shoulder and look for the pain. I am a diabetic.

I was diagnosed with frozen right side shoulder five months ago and it has been really painful. Iv had trouble to dress and to do normal things like normal things, getting dressed and drying my hair etc. I was given pain meds which do help actually i do use a hot water bottle. I am going to get the heat pad sounds good. My physio starts soon it is supposed to be very helpful.
I also have anklyosing spondulositis stiffening of the spine and hips and so they are saying the frozen shoulder is because of that.
Do any of you have an underlying problem?

I also have the same problem in my right shoulder. Have been getting physio for last 3 weeks. I'll be getting ESWT on Thursday at my next physio session. Apperently it's supposed to be very good.

I do not take pain pill, because I do not like any pills. Last night  I woke up from an extreme pain on upper arm and shoulder, but I put a electric heating pad there, and I could get a good sleep. Hot heating pad not only relieves pain but also helps cure I think. Strongly recommend this method. I have this pain for 2 months so far, and not improving.

I have frozen shoulder a second time. First was in my left shoulder and right now, I have on my right shoulder. It is very PAINFULL!!
You can not move, sleep. The only thing help me if I'm swimming, and go to the Physical Therapy. I'm taking regular Advil (good for the swallow) and ICE on the shoulder. Only ice.

Hello,

My mother has the same problem, she suffer's from frozen shoulder too. All she has been given was very strong pain killers. To ease the pain when it starts. What medicines were you given ? Because my mother takes nothing to help support her joints.
