Weight Loss and Gain

Hello,

I have smoked Marijuana daily for10+ years weighing around 175-180lbs, 5"11 Male.  Hashimotos thyroid, Synthroid .75 daily.  Thyroid has been level for 7+ years, blood levels checked every 3 months. Smoking Marijuana 2-3X daily.  I would eat pretty healthy but could have a bad day eating and was not affected.  November 2010 I stopped Smoking cold turkey.  In December 2010 I began to notice that my pants were tight.  I jumped on the scale and noticed that I was weighing in at 190-194lbs.  I began to diet and joined the GYM.  I would eat egg whites in the AM and skinless chicken breast with a vegetable for lunch and a sensible dinner.  No soda, only water or tea.  I was never able to get under 186lbs with a strict diet plan.  December 2011 I began to smoke again daily.  :(  I have now noticed that my weight is dropping.  I have not been to the Gym in a month and have been eating OK..  Last week I weighed in at 185lbs.  It being superbowl week, my diet has been extremely bad.  I have been eating everything from burgers to Icecreame.  Today I only weighed 189lbs.  When I stopped smoking last time I was concerned about the weight gain and now Im concerned about the weight loss.  Putting all the pieces together, the pattern does sound logical.  Thoughts?

I think marijuana is pretty fine. I think if you remain active and maintain a healthy lifestyle you'll lose weight.
