I have just had my son 5 months ago, after i had, had him i was happy with my body now i just feel grose. I have now gained 20 more pounds, and i would just like to be the same weight i was before i had him, i want my husband to look at me the same way, i would like to be able to where my thing again insted of making due with his. so i need to know how i can lose about 45 lbs fast, i would like to lose 10 lbs a month. can anyone help me?

I would like to add that if your husband is making you feel bad about your body he has the problem and not you.  He knows you just had a baby and he should be supportive of you right now.

Hi,

It is important that you do not rush to lose weight for at least 6 months post-delivery. The hormones secreted to make your pelvic bones lax for delivery, such as relaxin, are still very much present in your body.

The presence of these hormones predisposes your body to muscle and ligament injuries that can take a long time to heal.

Are you breastfeeding? If yes, your weight loss should not be more than 6 pounds a month to avoid deficits in the nutritional content of breastmilk.

Any easy way to lose weight would be to try and increase your BMR. Your body starts burning up more calories once it recognizes that there is a sufficient input at regular intervals.

This involves consuming some food every 2 hours. It can be something healthy such as milk or yoghurt or fruits.

You should have at least 2 normal meals a day.

Exercise should involve simple aerobics or cardio exercises that focus on specific regions that need toning.
The right pair of shoes are crucial in avoiding any damage to the ligaments in your lower limbs.

Remember that your body is still recovering and take it slow for the first 2-3 months.
