exercise or treatment for dexrtoscoliosis???

Hi. Last week i had my x-ray taken due to pain in my lower back. Doctor's findings was that i have dextroscoliosis of the lumbar spine. Underwent three CS operation. Is there any possibility that my CS operations triggered/caused my present condition? And I would like to know if there are exercises and or treatment that could ease out the pain and not worsen my condition?

Guys.dextroscolio is not a worse spine anomalies.if youre not a growing -tall person anymore dont bother, no need for braces or medical surgeries.what u need is refrain from heavy lifting, do exercises, stretching, eat healthy food ,stay slim and lean..well; even you aint have scolio u must also do these "healthy thing" to avoid other ilness..

Bottomline.if its mild dont bother live ur life to the fullest.stay healthy..

Hello!,

Scoliosis to the right side of the body is called dextroscoliosis. Scoliois is bending of the spine which is abnormal. You would need to consider physiotherapy and also see a chiropractor. This condition may or may not be related to genetic history and in most of the cases it is idiopathic (cause is not known).

Bracing is very important to stop the progress if you are young, and bracing is also important if you have any symptoms.

Surgery is more of cosmetic and is also used to treat complications of severe scoliosis.

Take care!
