New floaters after retinal detachment surgery

Hello,
It has been month since my retinal detachment surgery (it was oil removal with air bubble, after 5 months of having it) and I have noticed lots of tiny black dots after air disappeared - that didn't concern me because I knew it was normal and nothing to worry about. But today I noticed new group of floaters. I would describe them as 3 white dots, slightly bigger than my "old" floaters and it's their color that is surprising for me. I can see them depending on my head position, when i am lying down its hard for me to notice them. They follow my eye movement, just like old dots.I am sure those are not "light flashes" which occur during retinal friction or tearing. My eye slightly hurts from time to time, but its very light sensation and I think its more because of my eye drops - it has happened before. My question is should I be worried - as much as you can tell without eye examination? I have control in hospital in 7 days. Should I wait and see what happens or plan additional appointment with eye doctor?

If your surgeon told you to report any major changes then yes. Use the search feature and read the posts about RD surgery with oil or air in the eye.

Ok, thank you very much for your insight and help! I went to the hospital and I had small hole in my retina - apparently it was invisible when air bubble was still there.
Best of luck
