After my vitrectomy I had a dense hemorrhage. After 20 days of face down position the gas is completely absorbed and a large part of the hemorrhage has cleared. Though my visual acuity is not that good (I had 9/10 before surgery, retina is good). Doctor said that there's is a "membrane" on the back of my lens (still have my natural lens) which is formed from the blood which was concentrated on the back of the lens from... face down position. She said that the eye might wash it out but it might not go away completely. I'm wondering if she meant the actual lens or the capsule. What's this condition called? What are the chances to get better?
