CAN YOU HELP MY MOTHER PLEASE!

MY MOTHER HAS THE DRY FORM OF MACULAR DEGENERATION HER SIGHT IS BECOMING MUCH WORSE. THIS IN TURN IS MAKING HER FEEL VERY LOW AS SHE HAS THE CONDITION IN BOTH EYES.
PLEASE COULD YOU TELL ME IF THERE IS ANYTHING AT ALL EITHER AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT OR IN THE NEAR FUTURE FOR ANYONE SUFFERING WITH THE DRY FORM OF MACULAR DEGENERATION?

There are no viable treatments for dry macular degeneration, but there are some things that have been proven to slow the progression of the disease.  The AREDS formula is one of those.

My mother was diagnosed with this disease (wet form actually) and I found alot of useful information there.
