CSR after 2 weeks

Hi All,

I am a 33 year male . 2 weeks back i have reconganised that my right eye has serious reduced vision. I went to opthalmologist and initially they said its a red eye infection. Almost 5 days i took Tobradex ointment but it doesnt improve my vision. After further diagonis they said right eye has affected with CSR . For last onew week i am taking
Nevanac(nepafenac opthalmic suspension) 0.1% for evry 2 hour and duotrav ( travoprost/timotol) one drop at night)
and celebrex tablet one per day. My vision is improving slightly but no significant improvement. I am quite worried coz professionally i need to work in computer for the whole day and now i am not even able to sit for more than 15 min. can someone advice whether i am taking correct medicine? or usually how long it will take to fully cure?

YOU SHOULD UNDERGO AN OCT(OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY) TO CONFIRM CSR. USUALLY CSR RESOLVES SPONTANEOUSLY BUT IT TAKES TIME (6 WKS - 6 MONTHS ), BUT YOUR TREATMENT IS GOING ON IN THE RIGHT WAY. WHY DUROTAV, IT IS USED TO DECREASE THE INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE, YOU MUST CHECK YOUR IOP IS >21MMHG OR NOT. I THINK YOU NEED SOME REST & RELAXATION ALSO. IT WILL SURELY HELP.

Thanks for your response. It is diagnosed by my opthalmologist as central serous retinopathy. Now after taking the above mentioned medicine my vision is slightly getting improved but not significantly. can you please advice me normally how long it will take to get it completely cured and whether the medicine I am taking is correct? Thanks in advance.

Get a second opinion from an Eye MD that specializes in external eye disease/corena.

Cannot tell you how long it will last since I can't tell from your description what the problem is
