Can allergy attack damage barrage laser effects?

Hello I had barrage laser 4 weeks ago but after 18 days I had some heavy sneezing due to allergy attack. I think that since then my eyes hurt and they feel heavy. Is it possible that I have damaged effects of this treatment by heavy sneezing? Is eye discomfort normal after barrage laser?

Not at all likely. I've never heard of damage from coughing. Yes some discomfort post laser therapy is common.

Thank you so much for help! Your answer means alot to me, because eyes are like the only thing that works fine in my body :C Thank you again!
Happy to help. Best of luck
one more question, it may sound silly, but what about blowing nose? May it create pressure that can damage eyes after barrage?
No not if you just blow your nose without resistance so don't occlude either nostril when you blow.
Hello Doctor, my retina healed fine, one place had to be relasered but everything is ok. Could you tell me is i normal after this treatment that I feel pain in my eyes when i work for long time at computer or read a book? Will it go away? Also I see flashes sometimes, but my doctor told me that theres some traction or something like that, I dont remember, but treatment holds everything so no worries. Also I hope my floaters will go away because they are a bit annoying
After laser treatment of retina holes/tears pain on computer use in not related. But the symptom itself if very common. There are multiple causes: It could be needing glasses, incorrect glasses or reading glasses or bifocals. It could be the eyes drying out in which case the 15-15-15 rule is helpful. every 15 min look up from the computer screen at something 15 feet or further away and blink forcefully 15 times.
Thank you very much for answer! Its really helpful because Im paranoid about losing my sight in such young age. I cannot imagine any life scenario I could be happy living with severely damaged vision
In adults computers can tire eyes but not damage them. In young people prolonged near work: read, computer, video games, iPhone, iPad, etc. is contributing to a world wide epidemic of myopia.
But its really hard to live without technology, I work for 12 hours as a receptionist in a hotel and most of that time I look at the computer screen or study when there is nothing to do. But that 15-15-15 rule is really helpful, thank you! And I don't have myopia, I think the tears happened during my military service and I don't have familiy history of retina problems. My vision is very good thou, the only problem are a lot of floaters which are annoying but I think they are slowly starting to dissolve, those huge onest looks more like spiderweb now than hair. Those occasional flashes worry me a bit.
You don't have to do without technology just learn good "visual hygeine" when using electronic screens.
Ok! I'll do that :)
