Unaware of eye splash

Hi doctors. May i ask if is it possible for a droplet of fluid will get into our eyes without us knowing or feeling it? It was when i hold a testtube of blood in it's head/cap (the tube was in the table infront of me and i used just my right hand to hold it) and i felt that the cap was loosened. To my fear, i called my colleague to tighten the cap. Now i am worried that there may be droplet of blood got into my eyes although i didnt feel anything, or blink my eye and i keep thinking about it until now. Please help. thank you.

Yes it is possible, as when people mow the yard, get something in eye and don't feel it for several hours.   Is it likely? Not really.  You might check the lab results of that test tube to see if any positives.  So no way to tell you for certain but unlikely.

Thank you doctor. The lab tech said that all the tubes for disposal were negative of bloodborne diseases e.g hiv hepab, which was tested for. if its reactive to any dse, it will be sent to main lab for confirmatory, not for disposal. still i am worrying.
Nothing I can do about your worrying unnecessarily, you have to take care of that yourself. The chance of  problems is remote.
I understand. Thank you sir.
