Cross eye and lazy eye

I am 72 years old.  I have a cross Left eye I would like to have fixed. It is turned in.  Am I too old for this?  About 3 years old my cross eye started to give me problems.  When I drive it see the right side of the road.  And I have to sit side way in order to drive.  I am in very good condition.

Its not at all likely that you need any surgery or treatment. If this is something new then you do need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org

Any new eye muscle problem or double vision or pupil or lid change needs to be evaluated and not ignored

Hello, Dr. Hagan.....

I've been noticing I'm having trouble focusing when I look to my right, and after one of my sons asked me what was wrong with my eye, I went and stood in front of the mirror and looked sideways - and my left eye appears to be crossing inward....

Is there something I can do to correct this?  I'm 55 and I DO spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen.....

Thank you!

This is a generalization. At your age leave it alone. IF you have surgery you may be left with permanent double vision.
