Crystal lens HD and halos

I had a crystal lens HD put in one of my eyes yesterday due to a significant cataract.  Tonight is my first night with th news lens and the halos are horrible.  Driving around I thought I was at an amusement park pier.  Do the halos lessen over time or will it always be like this?

I had some wild "rings of fire" that were gone by 5:00 a.m. the next morning.  A friend warned me to expect wild stuff for two weeks, but I was lucky.  After 5:00 a.m. that first night, I've been pretty free of that stuff.  That's with both eyes open.

On the other hand, if I close my natural eye at night, my Crystalens eye still has some bad stuff.  Kind of a hybrid of halos, starbursts, and rings of fire.  I got my Crystalens 7/7/2009.

I am scheduled for a YAG in October (after three months from surgery) that I think will make a world of difference.

Usually stuff like that goes away.  But if you are young (because young pupils dilate larger) or your pupil is larger, they may tell you to expect some of it to hang around.
