Disturbed Vision

I suffer from what may be termed SNOW VISION, like a Tv screen with bad reception, except that it s not just a myriad of white dots it is multi coloured trillions of dots and some small and some large changing all the time.
A side effect is bad night vision whereby in poor light I am as blind as a bat.
I have had this for many years
I do not expect a cure
But if I could find the cause and may be part way to alleviating the condition

Please read my comment on Persistant Migraine Aura which is a different manifestation of Visual Snow..  I understand what you go through .  I've had this constantly for 12 years.  See a neurologist who will work with you with the few meds which may bring relief.  Google Visual Snow and Persistant Migraine Aura.  My neurologist says perhaps 2000 people in the world have this.  It's rarer than rare.  How special we are!

Use the search feature on this page and search "visual snow" there are many discussions about it and people that say they have it. I don't commit on it since I have never had a patient in my practice complain of it nor have I every seen a scientific study on it.

Hi, Charles,

I am a community leader here. I am not a doctor. I have a lot of experience helping eye patients, including myself.

I would recommend that you see an eye MD, an Ophthalmologist. You can find one at www.aaa.org

Dr. Hagan will be along later, to review what I have posted for you. He will add more information, because I am familiar with your symptoms.

Make an appointment soon. Your eyes are too important to delay getting a diagnosis and care.

Write back if you need to.
