Eye pain after my friends saliva entered into my eye. Please help

My 1st Incident : One month back while I was talking with my friend her spit entered into my right eye and from then it started to hurt. I went to Opthamalogist he dismissed chances of infection and allergy, since my only symptom is mild discomfort/pain.

My 2nd Incident : This happend last week. Again spit landed into my eye (this time my left eye) from another friend where the pain started right that after 15 mins which also a mild pain. Again I went to Opthamalogist, again he dismissed any infection and allergy.

I'm very much confused and hurt due to this both incident. If it is not infection and allergy, why it isn't paining me.

The pain continues even after 1 month and it switch eyes each day like pain on left eye one day and pain on right eye next day.

I'm Hurt. Pls advise wat I want to do now, since it affects my life. Pls pls help me

The minute amount of human saliva in your eyes should not cause any damage.  If you have a problem it should be related to something else perhaps a recurrent corneal erosion/abrasion from rubbing the eye. If its worth the time and money you can see an Eye MD ophthalmologist that specializes in cornea/external disease.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Dr. But considering my two occasions, I have a big doubt that it could be the result of saliva entering my eye. It is not a mild drops, I can say it was some 2-3 drops entering suddenly. My doubt increased when I faced this situation for the 2nd time on another eye where the pain started to appear just after 15-20 mins.

Pain is off and on though as I said. And I won't rub my eyes often, since I know the consequences of it.

Considering all this, wat suits better cause, Dr?

1) Infection ( I guess very very less chance)

2) Allergy ( Mild chance I guess)

3) Corneal abrasion/erosion (not sure)

4) Any other cause?

Pls advise me sir
#4 would be the most likely cause. Like the ophthalmologist that has examined your eyes I have never seen an eye injury from human saliva getting into the eye in over 4 decades and a million patient encounters.
