Does prednisolene cause your pupil to stay dilated?

I have been taking prednisolene in my right eye for two and half weeks following eye surgery.  Yesterday, my eyes were dilated in a follow up visit.  My right eye is still dilated.  The other eye is fine. Is this from the prednisolene?  Will it eventually go back to normal? Has anyone else ever experienced this?

It usually means more drops got in one eye than the other.   Prednisone does not dilate pupil but dilating drops can last a very long time especially in light collored eyes (blue, green, gray)  If it will make you feel better call your surgeon's office and report.

Thank you for responding.  I think it is not dilated anymore.  Do you think it’s safe to continue the prednisolene?  I have another week and a half to go.
By all means use the prednisolone
