12 days after detached retina my pupil is still dilated

It is 12 days after my detached retina surgery. I have 2 different eye drops that I use 4x daily; one for inflammation and other an antibiotic, neither of them cause the pupil to dilate.  However my pupil is still dilated, should I be concerned?

Hello.  I had a vitrectomy to correct retina detachment about 7 months ago.  My operated eye was dilated for 5 months afterwards.  I was getting concerned but dr. said it was common.  One day I looked and I had equal pupils.  I don't recall how long I had taken the drops but I know I was off all of them within 3 weeks.  I did have a scratched cornea where I had to do some antibiotic drops, also some inflammation and had 3 weeks of durezol.   Regards, Jim

Mine was dilated for about a month following retinal surgery/vitrectomy.
It is important to know that a pupil that is permanently larger than the unoperated eye, a droopy eyelid,  double vision and increased myopia are not uncommon in the post operative period. It can take months to resolve and a small number are permanent.
