In Canada that means I go to a ER and wait for 12 hours to see the on call doctor or a pay the $500 out of pocket for the visit and it wont be my Doctor or even my clinic because it's all booked up till September I was lucky enough to get a cancellation. Or I wait the 3 weeks now and get it for free and I get to see my doctor. Canadian free healthcare first come first served unless it's an emergency clinic but unless one of my eyes is hanging out of my head then I'll be waiting in line for hours.
If I were you id call n say it's an emetgency.
If u were you is tell me eye dr it's an emergency.
It's not dry eyes I've had dry eyes all my life and only for about the last 2 months has my right eye on the inside corner and only the right eye on the inside corner is the feeling like I have a grain of sand or something in my eye. I was told I had dry eyes back was I was like 12 and I'm 36 now so it cant just be dry eyes. And I made a appointment to see my eye doctor but it's not for 3 and a half weeks I was hoping someone could give me some ideas of how to deal with it till I can see a doctor because I've been through 3 one liter bottles of saline. I flush my eye out for like 10 minutes when I get the feeling it doesn't help the only thing that seems to get rid of the pain is time I just wait a few hours and it goes away on it's own.
Dry eyes can absolutely cause that sharp pain. Make an appt w your dr just in case.
