Eye disease

What is Giant Head Nerve Drusen  I may have this and can't find out any inof.  My eye dr. is referring me to another dr. to rule out.

Thank you. I searched on the internet and could not find the info. I needed.  I was very nervous.  My next dr. appt. is  7/27.  Glad I did not have to wait for a whole week to find out that it is not serious.   It sounds like a dreadful disease.

It is an abnormal appearance of your optic nerve due to accumulation of material.  It usually does not cause any problems.  Sometimes there is nerve fiber layer loss and some visual field loss.
